We had wonderful service in Soshanguve F4 yesterday. All three Missionaries were in attendance, myself included. Brother Leo Hordijk accompanied us also. I preached again from 1 Corinthians 1:1-9. My focus was more on verses 4 till 9. In the midst of all problems we face in the church of God, we have been enriched in all spiritual gifts. God through the Holy Spirit has given us all we need to fight against sin in this life. In this way we are being prepared for the life to come.”I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge— even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you— so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”1 Corinthians 1:4‭-‬9 ESVWe had a general meeting after church with the whole congregation. It was a follow-up meeting held few weeks ago. It was also a feedback from the meeting we had with the fathers.Through God’s grace we are helping the congregation of Soshanguve F4 to prepare for self-governing. I wish for a better term, but yes we hope that the church would have their own Elders and Deacons. Of course there are some issues which needed to be resolved, like in any other churches the are always challenges in this process. Challenges in the life of every congregation. Please continue to pray. One of the highlights yesterday is that three fathers were nominate to do the Diacanal work.

Rev. Matlaela and I visited two of these fathers last week, prior to the church service yesterday. I am adamant that two of these men will become official Deacons next year. God willing! Please be in prayer for these men!Ntate Leo Hordijk will help the financial committee. He already had his hands full yesterday. After the service we had a separate meeting with the fathers to discuss a way forward with handling the finances. Sensitive matter! But like any other institution, financial audit is imperative. The church will be responsible for its own minister. Other churches will help but it is still the primary responsibility of the local church. They will need to account and initiate requests for support if needed.Yoo, I have said a lot; let me rush to a close; I summarize:Wonderful service and fruitful meetings. I left home around 06:35 in the morning and come back around 13:00 in the afternoon. Indeed a very long day. We thank the Lord!
